King Krule

For King Krule’s US/EU Tour we layered light and colour to reflect the texture of the music and tone of the new album. By dissecting King Krule’s album art into segments of overlaying backdrop, we added depth to the stage while keeping his recognisable graphics as a key part of the show design. To reinforce the subtle sci-fi aesthetic, we designed a set of Dieter Ram inspired lighting fixtures which were used to create an area of light around the performance to help articulate the more introspective moments of the set.
